The mask fits on the face.
The colored face of the mask faces outwards with the metal strip on top.
The thread or elastic band is in the correct position to secure the mask in place.
The mask covers the nose, mouth and chin.
The metal strip is molded into the bridge of the nose.
Do not touch the mask once it is secured to your face, as frequent operations may reduce its protection. If you must do this, wash your hands before and after touching the mask.
When removing the mask, avoid touching the outside of the mask as this area may be covered by bacteria.
After removing the mask, fold the mask outward (that is, the outside of the mask faces inward), then put the mask in a plastic or paper bag, and then put it in a trash can with a lid.
Surgical masks should be discarded after use, and under no circumstances should they be used for more than one day. If the mask is damaged or soiled, replace it immediately.
